Nurturing Spirit Doula and Massage

I will tailor my techniques to meet your body’s specific needs. Therapeutic Massage can relax muscle tissue and increase circulation leading to decreased joint and nerve compression. This may assist in relieving chronic pain. Specific methods used may induce a relaxation response, lowering your heart rate, breathing rate, and blood pressure. Overall, this type of bodywork can help you to unplug from the stress of day-to-day life and gives your body the opportunity to recharge itself.

An additional 15 minutes is added to this massage to focus on relieving scalp tension. This can be a great service for those who work a desk/computer job, or those suffering from chronic headaches due to toxic load, hormones, and/or upper cervical or occipital tension. A soothing blend of peppermint, tea tree, and rosemary oils is used to relieve tension and stimulate nerve endings.
